Company History

The logistics company iws Transport GmbH was founded in Hamburg on July 1st, 1977 by Ingo Stöterau, Klaus Larisch and Manfred Herzog. In a short time the company became well known as experts in wine and spirits transportation.

Due to its reliability, quality of service and driving ambition, iws Transport GmbH grew to become a successful medium sized company.

Our motto  "logistics and door to door delivery in one step"

We achieved a significant milestone in August 1995 by moving from Hamburg to our own offi ces and ware-                          house in Prisdorf near Pinneberg.

Part of our on going growth included founding the iws branch in Istanbul in October, 2003.

Today, iws Transport GmbH offers a wide range of services from worldwide sea freight, international and domestic road transport, storage logistics, customs clearing to storage of your goods.
